Description of Mardin Storage Pumping Irrigation Project
With the Project, 22,079 ha of agricultural area will be irrigated in Turkey’s Southeastern Anatolian Region of the Lower Euphrates basin.
Within the scope of the work, design of the medium to high pressure pipe irrigation network and the state of art structures on the channels have been prepared.
The entire irrigation network was designed as a pressured pipe network with a total length of about 589 km, with diameters ranging from 110 mm to 2,400 mm.
In addition, 1 large pumping station was designed.
